Work as a director
I make documentary theatre that takes research seriously as an artistic form — not as background, but as the work itself. I am drawn to subjects where the personal and the structural are inseparable: labour, migration, memory, language, the body as political site. My productions move between verbatim material, spatial choreography and live sound, building form from the specificity of what I find rather than imposing a shape from outside. I am interested in what theatre can do that journalism cannot — and in the friction between the two.
